Astro Photography Lesson / Star watching

Due to the popular success of Astrophotography in Tekapo I now only offering night photography and Star watching in Tekapo, We have the best equipment and knowledge for astrophotography locally, easily beating whats on offer on Mt John and most happily I can offer my service for a fair price - as there is no need to pay for all the extra costs that you get hammered with that other companies offer. So to start the night I Have a simple Star watching tour that runs for 1 hour - I restrict the number to a Maximum of 6, so you don't have to wait in a long queue to look though the telescope, which means we end up looking at more objects. This I charge $40 per person

After the star watching tour I then change the visual backs of all the telescopes to what is needed for photography of the night sky. For the photography I charge $40 for the first hour and then $20 per hour afterwards (per person) - I restrict the number to just the one booking as this requires a lot more personal time, and you are welcome to stay as long as you want (if you intend to stay more than a few hours please let me know when booking) We have 2 telescope tracking mounts and 2 camera tracking mounts (in total we can have 6 cameras working at one time)
